Nominations for Directors of the Northern Guam Soil and Water Conservation Board and SouthernGuam Soil and Water Conservation Board commence July 15, 2016 and shall be accepted at University of Guam CNAS Dean’s office, Agricultural and Life Sciences Bldg., room 206, during normal hours of operation and shall close at 12 NOON Friday August 5, 2016.
Only those individuals who are listed on either Guam Department of Agriculture farmer listing or the Guam Soil and Water “Registry of Active District Members” on or before 12 NOON Friday August 5, 2016 are eligible to nominate, vote and/or run for office within that district. In the event an individual is listed on both the Northern and Southern districts’ registry, said individual shall be restricted to exercise his/her right to nominate, vote and/or run for district director in Only One District as opted by said individual.
This nomination process is in accordance with the University of Guam’s promulgated Election Rules Pertaining to Directors, Northern and Southern Soil and Water Conservation District Boards as authorized by Chapter 71 of Title 5 of the Guam Code Annotated.
