Children learn as they play! In a collaborative effort between Cooperative Extension & Outreach and the Guam Head Start Program, Head Start students and their parents were invited to the campus for a day of hands-on learning and play! Students had the opportunity to learn about gardening and sustainable agricultural practices received an introduction to entomology with the Insect Road Show, and worked with their parents to make & taste healthy, homemade “Smart Snacks!” This is the second round of Head Start Field Trips, which will be continuing monthly.
